It was the late 9­­­0’s when our brand was born.

Two brothers, both canny salesmen in their own right, with the flair of having sold everything from cat food to German automobiles, decided to join forces with the vision of becoming a market leader in the industry.

From humble beginnings in a converted garage in Sunnyside, Pretoria, WAVES has grown to become a recognised brand across our beloved S.A, and its neighbouring countries. Waves can be easily found at fuel station forecourts along all South Africa’s major holiday destination routes. What’s more, it's likely we’re making waves at your local pharmacy, cycling shop, holiday resort or hardware store.

Our original range soon grew from Shades and readers only, to include Hats and leather wallets.

Since the Pandemic, and because we will always remain nimble, our range has expanded even more to include Waves Tech gear, and more.

Waves has old school values. We offer great service, affordability, and quality without the hefty price tag.

The second generation is knocking on the door and WAVES is blending old school values with fresh ideas. We remain committed, steadfast in our Faith, and ready to grow revenue with our customers locally and abroad, no matter what the circumstances.
